I'm not sure when Feng-Shui-Friday turned into quotes-that-inspire-me-Friday, but I'm going with it. If I can find a little Feng-Shui peace in my heart maybe it will override the chaos that is my house.

In any case, this quote seemed especially poignant to me this week. Things don't really happen TO us. They happen in spite of us, and we can choose to play victim to fate or circumstance or we can respond with grace and let our experiences shape us for the better. Just breathe—and take ourselves out of the center of our universe.
